The Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Public Library, Whitestown Branch is a new steel-framed, one-story library in
Central Indiana. JQOL performed both structural and civil engineering design on this project. The building
features a two-tiered canopy enveloping the building supported by a custom layout of Architectural Exposed
HSS columns. High volume open areas were desired and moment frames were utilized to achieve the function
required. Site design included development of a 4.17 acre site with new utility connections and stormwater
management strategies to meet Boone County requirements.
