The Ameriplex project is a 1-mile concrete pavement rehabilitation project located in Decatur Township. This project
incorporates a section of Ameriplex Parkway, from SR67 to north of Decatur Blvd, and a section of Decatur Blvd
from Ameriplex Parkway to Heathrow Way.
The concrete pavement rehabilitation includes partial (and some full depth) patching of the longitudinal and
transverse joints. Pavement panels were replaced as needed. Curb repairs, inlet and gutter cleaning, joint sealing,
and ADA ramps were also part of this project.
Maintenance of traffic was a critical item, as the typical 4 lane roads were decreased to 1 lane, eliminating one
direction of traffic for each phase.
