This project consists of a multi-phase renovation and addition to the existing North Central High School Campus. The renovations include Auditorium improvements, Central Plant improvements and equipment replacement, West Gym and Multi-Purpose Room additions, Administrative and Classroom improvements and reprogramming, Administrative addition, Performing Arts addition, and Athletic Fields and Outbuilding additions.
JQOL’s Role
JQOL serves as the Structural Engineer of Record on this project and utilizes various complex Structural Engineering techniques to help make this project a reality. This includes design using, precast concrete, steel framing, and masonry both within the existing building footprint and beyond. Multiple addition phases require deep foundations to span over an existing 90-inch diameter underground creek pipe for the structural elements
