The Former Black Mountain Site Visioning Plan project consisted of surveying and identifying the limits of the Black Mountain sand, a by-product of manufacturing in that area. It is named Black Mountain due to the large pile of spent-foundry sand being stores on much of the site from 1999 - 2018.
The project’s final deliverable was a 20-page report that examined Brownfield Catalyst-Site Reuse Analysis options for the Black Mountain site where JQOL:
